53.25” x 53.25” | Variation of a Lone Star Quilt Pattern | Inspired by the old myth that the postal service first tried strapping mail bags to cheetahs in the Wild West before having to settle on the less glamorous Pony Express method. Risking your own health to get a stranger’s post to its destination. Seems even crazier now, during our times of instant communication... but we still manage to have moments of miscommunication. Also inspired by my old memories of family road trips as a child staring out the window and being intrigued by all the different sizes and styles of water towers that were laid out across the Texas landscape that aren’t here in Southern California. Kids should never lose the valuable ability to entertain themselves by just looking out the windows on a drive. Features the Lone Star quilt block pattern.

96” x 60” | Variation of Flying Geese Pattern | Family Feud Fun: Growing up, my brother told me the contestants could hear you if you yelled the answers loud enough into the TV speaker. It worked a couple of times. Steve Harvey was not the host at the time, but I wish he was. His "wood-quilted" suit is adorned with a variation of a flying geese pattern. The carpet is laser-engraved with a 1970s wallpaper design.
